Specific Job Description
RMSL is a growth company with an outstanding job opportunity for a Program Manager. This position will report to the COO. The Program Manager will be an integral part of a small cross functional team working on an exciting development project with cutting-edge technology. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for mentorship, proposal writing, planning and executing project deliverables, and winning business. This individual must demonstrate innovation, an understanding of various engineering systems, out-of-the-box thinking and creativity.

Duties Include:

​Develop budgets and operating plans for projects and programs

Collaborate with group leaders to manage project to budget
-
Support proposal writing efforts and maintain relationships with clients to bring in new projects
-
Project management reviews
-
Provide accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle

Cash flow management
-
Guide projects to complete on time
-
Project deliverables tracking
-
Managing group leaders and providing them with the resources necessary to complete their job
-
Plan programs and monitor progress to make sure that milestones are being met across the various projects and programs

Manage and use resources across the various projects and programs
-
Facilitating effective communication and coordination on assigned programs with customers and teams

Required Skills

Problem solver that can work in a team environment on fast pace projects

Extensive knowledge of project and personnel management

Extensive experience writing proposals

Government contract experience

Identify, plan and lead the execution of opportunities for operational improvement, including quality control, process documentation, safety, cost savings, staff restructuring, and training

Lead the engineering/scientific team leadership to work with the finance team to ensure forecasting and reporting are accurate and up-to-date

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical requirements:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor on a daily basis

Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively

Minimum Qualifications

BS and/or MS in a related field of study such as Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Math, or related field

PMP certification

Demonstrated project management skills

US Citizenship

Ability to obtain security clearance
