Specific Job Description
RMSL is a growth company with an outstanding job opportunity for a Test Technician. This position will report to a Senior Engineer. The Operator will be an integral part of a small cross functional team working on an exciting development project with cutting-edge technology. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and fabrication. This individual must demonstrate reliability, efficiency, and the ability to work with little supervision using a scientific methodology.
Duties Include

Loading and testing of small arms munitions
-
Data collection
-
Assembling mechanical and electromechanical systems and ensuring they work properly
-
Running and maintaining fabrication equipment
-
Assisting in troubleshooting and maximizing efficiency of a manufacturing line

Handling of energetic materials
-
Assembling energetic systems
-
Assembly of specialized munitions

Required Skills

Problem solver that can work in a team environment on fast pace projects

Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Firearms usage

Scientific data entry

Ability to work hands-on building and assembling mechanical systems

Direct experience with operation of basic shop tools

Preferred Scientific testing background

Preferred professional or personal experience with casting, coating, or reloading

Preferred experience with explosives

Preferred experience with Quality Control

Physical requirements:

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor on a daily basis

Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively

Must be able to work overtime as required

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of relevant experience or technical Associate degree and 2 years’ relevant experience or more

Ability to obtain CO Type 1 Explosives permit

Good aptitude for problem evaluation and troubleshooting

US Citizenship
