Specific Job Description
RMSL is a growth company with an outstanding job opportunity for an engineer position in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. RMSL is supporting Battelle Memorial Institute as a subcontractor with responsibility to provide staffing needs in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Duties Include:

Provides technical assistance in engineering and scientific research, development, and testing and related activities.

Performs simple tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures in process or completion.

Performs at this level on one or a combination of the following tasks (not limited to):
-
Construct simple equipment or parts;
-
Service instruments or equipment;
-
Conduct a variety of standardized tests;
-
May prepare test specimens; and
-
Set up equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical requirements:
-
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.; must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor on a daily basis

Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively
-

Must be able to work overtime as required.
Desired Skills
-
Professional knowledge must be defined as comprehensive, in-depth knowledge testing and data collection.

Experience with explosives.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Two years of study from an accredited college or university leading to a scientific or engineering degree; OR successful completion from an accredited technical school leading to a mechanic/technician rating.

Demonstrate basic understanding on solving technical problems associated with engineering and scientific activities AND have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience using a variety of tools and test equipment.

OR 10 years of demonstrated experience using a variety of tools and test equipment.

US Citizenship.

Ability to obtain security clearance
