Specific Job Description

RMSL is a growth company with an outstanding job opportunity for an engineer position in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. RMSL is supporting Battelle Memorial Institute as a subcontractor with responsibility to provide staffing needs in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

Duties Include:

  • Performs engineering analyses of security related systems to determine potential for further development, production, interface to other systems, and usefulness in the intended environment.

  • Requires no more than moderate supervision.

  • Performs test assembly, conducts test, collects test data, witnesses test performance; prepares test/program assessment reports.

  • Engineer shall be capable of developing work breakdown structures, identification of critical path elements to project accomplishment, and tracking of project activities.

  • Has good communication skills is able to write with moderate supervision project documents, including project plans, test plans and procedures, data analysis reports, project final reports.

  • Has experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation.

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and has working knowledge of commercial software programs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Physical requirements:

    • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.; must have the ability to see near and far and work with a computer monitor on a daily basis

    • Required to bend, sit, stand and lift to perform job effectively

  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

Desired Skills

  • Professional knowledge must be defined as comprehensive, in-depth knowledge testing and data collection.

  • Experience with explosives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering and have at least 3 or more years of experience that demonstrates knowledge of System, Electrical/Electronics engineering discipline.

  • Knowledge is defined as the comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of systems engineering and advanced technology development.

  • Shall have security, physical security, security sensor, or explosive detection systems or related engineering experience demonstrating the ability to work with complex issues related to design, development, and test and evaluation.

  • US Citizenship.

  • Ability to obtain security clearance
